1/1/2012:The Montpelier Police Department is utilizing Facebook and Twitter to help get information to the public in a more efficient and expedited manner.

First Aid Kits
1/1/2012:The Montpelier Police Reserves are selling first aid kits for home, auto and personal use. The home and auto kits cost $8 ea. and the personal size
costs $5. All of the kits are well stocked and a good addition to your house, camping trailer, car, work shop, motorcycle, or for when you are walking/jogging. Come into the police department during normal administrative business
hours and speak with Darrin Repp, or contact a Reserve Officer you know. All proceeds go to the Montpelier Police Reserve Unit. The Reserve Unit is a volunteer unit which helps supplement the functions of the full time officers and does various community related
services.

Officers honored with awards
1/12/12:During our scheduled troop meeting awards were served on several officers. Lt. Dan McGee and Sgt. Jennifer Hern received a second award for perfect attendance. Officer Duaine Cluckey received his second award for perfect attendance and received an award for OVI arrests for the year 2011.

:: October, 27, 2010 ::
Police are still seeking information related to the September 3, 2009 robbery at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Montpelier. The suspect assaulted an employee and stole approx. $9000 from a safe. The employee was admitted to the hospital for serious injury, and later life flighted to a hospital in Toledo. Please call with any additional information you may have.
:: Septemper 3rd, 2009 ::
Between 9:30 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. someone entered the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Montpelier. The suspect assaulted an employee and stole approximately $9,000.00 from a safe. The employee was admitted to the hospital for serious injury, and later flown by Life Flight to a hospital in Toledo.
:: May 10, 2008 - May 11, 2008 ::
Police are still seeking information from a 2008 entry. Suspects broke into the CK Technologies factory at 1701 Magda Drive in Montpelier. The suspects broke into change machines in the break room and into several offices. Once inside the suspects stole an undetermined amount of cash from the factory, including cash that was set aside for the Relay for Life Program. |
